  • 19th Century Clock Dial - Now Working Perfectly

A very interesting 19th century clock dial which I have had professionly restored by a clock dial artist.
The clockmakers name appears in the centre of the dial ( Andrew Matthewson of Kilconquhar) from the East of Scotland.
He is a listed maker in G.H. Baillie's 'Watchmakers and Clockmakers of the World book, working between 1795 and 1830.
The fully restored dial shows Brittania in the arch and on the 4 corners are representations of different continents.
This is historically a very interesting dial and was well worth having it restored to a near perfect state.
Please take a good look at the photos.
We have bought it back to life with a new modern quartz movement and period style hands which give you perfect timekeeping.
If you have any questions please do ask about this really intersting dial!
