The 1960's was the start of Modernist and Minimalist design and here is a large and impressive 50cm clock from that period.
It was originally fitted with an electric motor and may well of been in a factory, workshop or office as
one of a series of clocks driven by mains electric in sequence.
The introduction of quartz movements in the late 70's and early 80's did away largely with electric clocks.
We have fitted a new modern quartz movement behind the dial of this clock that ensures perfect timing with a single AA battery (included).
We have managed to keep the original hands fitted to the Arabic dial.
Please note that the original clock would have had a convex glass, long since missing, but this doesn't really detract from the look
from this very cool, stylish and well priced clock.
