This stylish early 19th Century clock would only have been found in a grand French house or chatteau where the ring at the top was often used to suspend the clock on a ribbon between a pair of long French windows. The metal case has a shape that gives the clock its popular name of "bulls eye" clock. It has an Enamel dial with Roman numerals in perfect condition and beautifully made hands, which we have adapted to fit a modern quartz movement. The original mechanical movement was missing, as was the convex glass, that would have fitted the brass bezel covering the dial. It now is a combination of elegance and perfect timing.
