I have had over the years many French and Dutch tin clocks, which were popular in the 1920's and 1930's and often used to advertise companies and products. Never have I had a round one in this size from Silesia, which is now part of the Czech Republic. It has its original movement from the 1920's/30's and comes from Krnoy, which today is a popular destination for summer and winter tourism. The clock illustrates one large factory in the town with chimneys and the Arabic numerals on the outside. This must surely be a collector's item, especially as it has its original movement and hands still working. A very intriguing clock, which still requires further investigation to find out what factory it might have been and what it might have produced. .
