  • 593 - Very RARE 19th century French turret clock

We never had a 12 sided turret clock before.
We are trying to track down what building this may have been on in Meru in Northern France near Beauvais.
The clock has been out in all weathers since the late 19th Century, and has beautifully aged the zinc dial.
Roman numerals are barely visible and the name A. Maillard is discernible on the dial as is the place name Meru.
     A rare find.
We have made replice hands to the exact shape of the originals abd adapted them to fit a heavy duty quartz movement mounted on the front of the dial so that you have this remarkable clock keeping perfect time.
The buyer can keep the original hands ( See photos) which are often mounted on the wall by people as decoration.
To be collected in person or by your own courier from Wandsworth, South west London.
