172-1930's French Tin Clock (sold)
A charming Bistro clock from the 1930's. It is an advertising clock for hot chocolate, which at that time was as popular as coffee is today. The inner red numbers of the 24 hour dial indicate that it was in a bar or restaurant that stayed open late. Guerin-Boutron was one of two famous chocolate drink makers in France. We have fitted the original hands with a modern quartz for perfect accuracy.
